The hut was located on an an enormously tall pillar. Frost checked his scouter, and he could detect two power levels inside. One was around 1,500 and the other was close to 5,000. Kimchi grimaced as she checked her own scouter.
“He’s in there…the namekian who bested me.”
“The one with the level 5,000?”
“No.” Kimchi growled. “Don’t let the scouter fool you…these namekians can mask their power levels. The namekian with the power level of 1,500 is actually close to 8 or 9,000 in reality.”
“They can hide their power levels? That’s quite a trick.” Frost joked. The little namekian boy flying ahead of them finally stopped just outside the hut.
“This is the place.” Nail said. “Guru is just inside.”
“Thank you.” Frost said kindly. He looked to Kimchi and nodded his head. “Let’s do this.” He walked inside and there he saw them.

There were two namekians inside. One was about Kimchi’s size, strong looking and young. He was wearing red pants but no shirt. The other namekian was enormous and fat. He sat on a throne with his eyes closed, as if sleeping. Resting ontop of his throne was a yellow ball with a red star inside.
“It seems that we have guests.” The large one said. “These are the foreigners you spoke of, Arion?”
“Well, I know about the Saiyan…but I don’t know this other one. Who are you and how did you find this place?” Frost stepped forward quickly and bowed.
“Grand Elder Guru, leader of the namek race…I am Lord Frost, chief negotiator of the Planet Trade Organization. I have not come here to harm you or your people…but I am here to bring a warning.”
“What is that?” Guru asked.
“My brother, Frieza…a twisted and evil tyrant, has heard rumors of the namekian treasures…these dragon balls I’ve been told about. As of now, Frieza does not have interest in them…but if he learns of their power and their potential…he will come, and if he does, he will show no mercy or kindness to your people to get them.” Frost explained.
“And what would you have me do?” Guru asked in his deep and tired voice.
“Tell me of the dragon balls. What do they do, and how can I stop Frieza from ever getting a hold of them?” Frost demanded. Guru did not answer at first and then finally nodded. He reached up to the top of his throne and grabbed the yellow ball that rested there. He held it out to Frost who stared at it.

“This is a dragon ball,” Guru said, “there are seven of them in total. Alone they are mere jewels…but when brought all together, they summon the magical dragon, Porunga, who has the power to grant three wishes.”
“Wishes? What kind of wishes?” Kimchi asked.
“Anything.” Arion replied.
“The dragon can resurrect the dead, give you material object you desire, and even grant immortality.” Guru explained.
“But immortality is a forbidden wish for our people…it’s considered a wicked wish.” Arion affirmed. Frost shuddered and shook his head.
“Not to Frieza it won’t be…if he gains immortality, then Frieza will become unstoppable! We mustn’t let him get hold of these! Can we destroy the dragon balls?”
“NO!” Arion shouted. “The dragon balls are sacred treasures to our people. Besides, they are linked to Guru…if you destroy the dragon balls, you’ll kill Guru too! We can’t allow that!” Frost nodded.
“Then let me take them away from this planet and hide them somewhere Frieza won’t look for them.” Frost offered.
“It will not work.” Guru sighed. “The dragon balls are linked to us…if you remove them from the planet, they will merely rush back to us again…they cannot leave our people.”
“Dammit…then what CAN we do!?” Frost demanded. “We have to do something.”
“I think the answer is obvious.” Arion snapped. “If this brother of yours is as bad as you say, then let’s find him and kill him before he can find his way here.”

Frost and Kimchi both gasped at the prospect. Kimchi looked positively shocked by the suggestion and Frost’s eyes bulged a little, his face twisted in horror.
“K-kill Frieza!?” He gasped. “Impossible! Frieza can’t be killed by the likes of us!”
“Why, because he’s your brother?” Arion asked.
“No…that doesn’t matter. If I only had the power, I’d have killed him a long time ago…but I don’t have that kind of power! No one does. He can’t be defeated!” Frost groaned.
“Ha! That’s what your Saiyan friend said to me earlier today…and you saw that turned out.” Arion pointed out.
“Are you really so naïve!?” Kimchi barked. “You got the better of me in that fight by hiding your power level…but not even at your best are you close to Frieza’s power level…I once saw his power level through my scouter….it….it was monstrous. It was easily over 300,000!”
“Actually, in his first form, his full power is 530,000….but that’s just his first form.” Frost said, shaking a little, terror etched across his face. “We arcosians can suppress our power levels by changing our forms. In Frieza’s true form, his power level is…massive. I haven’t seen him in that form in years…but back then his power was well over 1,000,000!”
“WHAT!?” Kimchi squeaked, stumbling backwards. “Th-that’s impossible!”
“I really don’t understand all this talk of power levels and scouters…” Arion growled. “Sounds like nonsense to me. He may be strong, but I say that we try and fight back. It’s better than doing nothing at all.”
“We have nothing that can compare to Frieza’s power.” Frost sighed.
“Perhaps not…but perhaps you can borrow the power you need.” Guru spoke up.
“How?” Frost demanded.
“I will grant you permission to use the dragon balls and make the necessary wishes to defend our home. But you must promise that you will respect the ways and customs of our people and not misuse this privalege.”
“Elder Guru! Are you sure!?” Arion cried. “No outsider has ever used the dragon balls before!”
“For the sake of my children, I will allow this.” Guru said with a smile. Kimchi and Frost exchanged looks and nodded. They both knew it was their best option at the moment.
“Thank you, Grand Elder Guru. You have my word that I will honor your people’s customs.”
“Yeah…what he said.” Kimchi echoed. The Guru looked between the three of them and finally reached up, plucking the dragon ball from his throne and handing it to Frost.
“Arion…take them to the other 6. Then go to the wishing grounds.”
“Yes, Lord Guru.” Arion said. He turned and walked with Frost and Kimchi to the exit. As they left he stopped and turned to them, shooting them both harsh glances. “Lord Guru may trust you two, but I don’t. Just a few hours ago, YOU were trying to kill my people. And then you show up claiming you have our best interests at heart? You admit you’re part of some planet trade organization and you really expect me to just believe you’re on our side?”
“You don’t have to believe or trust us if you don’t want to,” Frost said simply, “but if you want to protect your people, then we urge you to gather the dragon balls with us so we can do so. It’s your choice.” Arion spat on the ground and then glared at Kimchi.
“I’ll be keeping my eye on you Saiyan.”
“Likewise, slug.”
“Both of you chill out!” Frost barked. “We are not enemies here. Let’s just get to work, shall we?”
“Sure. Follow me.” Arion leaped into the air and soared off to the East. Frost turned and glared at Kimchi.
“Kimchi, I’m begging you…please d-”
“I know, okay?” Kimch snarled. “I’ll play nice. I’m not going to hurt anyone. What’s the point anyway? I’ve failed in my mission…my honor and pride as a Saiyan warrior is gone. Hell, I don’t even have a reason to live. I can’t return home like this; I’ll be killed.”
“Then what will you do?”
“I’ll stay with you for the time being. Taking out Frieza sounds like fun…at least I’ll go out fighting.”
“We never agreed on killing my brother.” Frost defended.
“No we didn’t…but I don’t see any other solution to this planet’s problem. Anything else we do would just be delaying the inevitable.” Kimchi then leaped up and followed after Arion. Frost looked back at the hut and shook his head.
“Going to war with my brother can only mean danger and death for us all….but perhaps she’s right. We may not have a choice.” Frost sighed and took off after them.

After a long day of flying and negotiating with different villages, at long last Kimchi, Frost, and Arion had the 7 dragon balls. Frost and Kimchi marveled at their size and smooth texture. They were like large gemstones. The orange color of the balls made them slightly luminous and you could vaguly see the red stars inside them. Arion led them to wide open island field and he set the balls down in a small group, then stepped back. There was a long moment of silence as the three of them just stared at the group of glowing orbs.
“So now what happens?” Kimchi asked.
“Now we call upon the dragon to come and grant our wish. However, the dragon will only answer wishes and summons in the namekian language. I’ll be the one making the wishes.” Arion said. “Just step back, if you please.” Kimchi sneered and stepped back some with Frost behind her.
“Bossy slug.”
“Cool it, Kimchi.” Frost muttered. Arion ignored them and held up his hands as if praying.
“Takkaraputo, popurunga pupirittoparo!”

“Both of you chill out!” Frost barked.
 “Cool it, Kimchi.” Frost muttered.

Is it just me, or does Frost love being punny? *Shot*
