Have you ever been insulted? I have
oh, I've been insulted numerous times by humanity. I read a poem the other day about how I was an "unjust and evil entity." I was described as being an unfair and wicked creature. I've already told you how I feel about being called evil, but unjust and unfair? It's like at funerals when people say that "They were taken before their time." What the hell do you know about time? Do you honestly think that I don't know when someone's time is and that you do? Who told YOU when this person was supposed to die? When did you have that conversation with God?
Another one that I hear is "Death is unfair." Let me tell you what's "fair." You sinned against God, your creator. The fair thing for him to do would be to just turn his back on you. However, that's not what he did, and you all know that! Thank GOD that God is unfair, because if he was fair, none of you would be here right now reading this. God is the one that sets the time and place
I'm just the one who visits you. So call God unfair
and you can THANK him for it!
Now, I'm used to insults by now. After all, I constantly see pictures of me as a skeleton holding a scythe (sorry, I just can't get over that), so I'm accustomed to misrepresentation of me and what I do. However, there is one group of people that insult, not only me, but they insult humanity, history, and the military that protects them. I remember these people back during the Vietnam war
they were obnoxious then, and they still are now!
A few years ago, I was going through California, and I came across a group of protestors that were protesting the war in Iraq. I stopped to hear what they had to say
and I was even MORE insulted. These people were claiming that the United States military should back down
that war was evil and unnecessary. Some of these people WITNESSED the 9/11 attacks
they SAW that catastrophe
and they claimed that America should BACK OFF!!! That's not all, they also said that war was my best friend; that if America put down its weapons, then the world would follow it, and murder would finally vanish from the world.
That isn't just an insult to me
it's an insult to history, to the military, and to humanity in general. I want to make this perfectly clear: WAR IS NOT MY ALLY! I'm not going to say that war is evil, but I won't say that I enjoy it! It makes my life hell, but it is important
it's something that sometimes HAS to happen. Society never bows down to those that are tender hearted and gentle. To quote Theodore Roosevelt: "Speak softly, and carry a big stick." History is riddled in war, but it wasn't war that started homicide! To actually believe that putting down your weapons will make all of the world follow you is ludicrous. Even if it DID put a stop to war, it wouldn't end violence and conflict. I can promise you that.
Like I said, this claim is an insult to militaries and humanity alike. It's outlandish! I have a great deal of respect for the United States military and other forms of military around the world. These men who give their lives to the protection and the defense of their country and their principles are true warriors and real men. To die fighting for what you love is the greatest way for you to meet me, in my opinion
but to say that the military is the source of evil
it's an insult to your own history! How did your country come to be formed? By a war! How did you earn the right to freely speak and voice your opinions? War! What is protecting your right to insult your military? THE MILITARY! The most amazing part of all this is, despite your moaning and complaining about your military, they would still protect you
they would still give their lives for yours.
For those of you that serve in the armed forces, you have my deepest respect, and I want you to know that I am not unkind to you. I will show you all the honor, respect, and kindness that you deserve for your acts of valor and bravery, even if it wasn't shown to you by others. That much I will promise you. I know what it is like to be insulted and ridiculed for your job and for what you do
we are very similar in that sense. Whether I meet you on the battlefield or somewhere else, I will be honored to meet you. In this way I might prove that I am not "unjust," or "evil." Instead I will show my true colors, as you have shown yours.
I think I've said all that needs saying right now. I will leave it at that and be on my way. I might write again should I have time, or if there are any more things you wish for me to discuss. Please feel free to ask me anything or to inquire of me certain topics, for I will do my best to give my opinion on them. I thank you all for reading what I have to say.
